With gas prices down, what better way to take an inexpensive vacation in a comfortable and convenient way. You'll be able to enjoy the outdoors, but not be so out in the open -- like in a tent -- that the next stop you make is a closest motel.
The best places to travel in an RV are truly limitless, but heading for a national park or any recreational area is usually the way to go and most of these places have special accommodations just for you. In most cases, for a little extra cash, the RV renter will stock your RV with all the fixing you need to make traveling a breeze, and all you'll have to worry about is your cloths.
There are many places you can rent RV from and the best thing to do is check your phone book or google "RV Rentals".
You need to decide what type of RV you want to rent. The smaller models are better on gas obviously and easier to manage. But there are all types available include pop-ups, fifth wheelers and luxury models.
RV costs depend on the size of the vehicle, the condition it is in and the time of year. You might also want to check with each company you call to see if they have any specials. For the most part average rental rates run between $110 to $279 per night figure.
Going back to what to bring. Besides cloths, make sure you bring things to keep the kids entertained and games for the adults as well. If the RV doesn't come equipped with a TV, you might want to think about bringing one along.
